The college offers two streams of Law course leading to LLB Degree .....

1.Five Year BA LLB integrated Law Course after 10+2

2.Three Year LLB course after Graduation


1. Five-year Integrated Law Degree Course (5 years B.A. LL.B.)

Objective
A student after his pre-university (10+2) education can opt for legal education just as some others would opt for medical, Engineering and other professional education .

>> Law attracts serious-minded students to enter the field of legal education at a very early stage of their educational career.

>> This course is being taught only by whole-time day colleges or university departments recognized by the Bar Council of India.

>> It provides for compulsory practical training for students and also compulsory participation in moot courts.

Eligibility
The applicant should have passed 10+2 or  its equivalent examination.
Should have secured minimum 45% marks and SC/ST minimum 40% marks.
Applicants should satisfy themselves that they fulfill the eligibility requirements in terms of qualifications. If the percentage of marks secured by a candidate at the qualifying examination, falls short by even a small fraction, it shall not be rounded to the next whole number.

Attendance
The student shall be required to put in a minimum attendance of 66% in the lectures on each of the subjects as also in the moot court session and in practicals in the courts.

2. Three-Year LL.B. Degree Course

A student after passing the graduation examination of this university or any Indian university incorporated by the law for the time being in force or any other examination recognized by the university with at least 45% of marks on the basis of merit shall be eligible for admission to LL.B First Semester of the 3-year Law Course.
The college also conducts interviews of all applicants before admitting eligible candidates as students.

Participation in Lok Adalat
As a part of training under internship, participation in Lok Adalat proceedings is compulsory.

Legal Awareness Programme
LL.B 3 years final students and BA. LL.B final year students have to organize Legal awareness programme at Block Level. The participation of the legal Panchayat representative of the blocks is invited. Issues concerning the working of Panchayats are discussed and panchayat members are educated about their duties and way of functioning.

Internship
Final year students of 3 years LL.B Course and final year students of 5 year B.A. LL.B course have to attend and observe the trial proceeding of 6 civil cases and 6 criminal cases in the court.

The interns have to submit the report based on their observation of the proceedings, for evaluation to the external examiner. This is compulsory for all students under Moot-Court and pre-trial preparation. The degree of Law is awarded only after marks secured in internship have been included to the aggregate marks secured in theory paper.
