Law College Dehra Dun is counted among the best law institutions of Northern India. The College promotes multidimensional legal education, Multi-disciplinary inquiry and practical-appreciation of problems. Moot court practice, case studies, debates on relevant legal topics are organized on regular basis.

It is our effort to train students and equip them well to practice law to enable them to become creative problem shooters capable to device innovative and responsible solutions to legal problems.

Internship
Final year students of 3 years LL.B Course and final year students of 5 year B.A. LL.B course have to attend and observe the trial proceeding of 6 civil cases and 6 criminal cases in the court.

The interns have to submit the report based on their observation of the proceedings, for evaluation to the external examiner. This is compulsory for all students under Moot-Court and pre-trial preparation. The degree of Law is awarded only after marks secured in internship have been included to the aggregate marks secured in theory paper.

Participation in Lok Adalat
As a part of training under internship participation in Lok Adalat proceedings is compulsory.

Legal Awareness Programme
LL.B 3 years final students and BA. LL.B final year students have to organize Legal awareness programme at Block Level. The participation of the legal Panchayat representative of the block is invited. Issues concerning the working of Panchayats are discussed and panchayat members are educated about their duties, and way of functioning.
