Law College Dehradun has pioneered the five year B.A. LL.B degree courses in the state of Uttarakhand. It is the first independent Law College offering 5 years B.A. LL.B course at the undergraduates level and the 3 year LL.B course after graduation.

The College was established in 2002 with the view of imparting an excellent legal education that would bring confluence of thought knowledge and its sound application. Today we are in the league of the premier Law Colleges of the country. Our alumni are well placed in well  known  Law firms in India, a number of them are pursuing Post Graduate studies in foreign universities. Our students are also  practising  in High Courts and Supreme Court.

The Salubrious environment of the college, sprawling Lawns, Wi-fi campus, canteens cafe, spacious lecture rooms, moot court and experienced faculty are some of the highlights of our college. We have not left any stone unturned to provide the best learning conditions to our students. Our library is so well equipped that besides providing learning aids to our students, it also caters to the needs of Research Scholars and lawyers on any branch of law.

Strict discipline is enforced in matters of lecture attendance and students conduct in and outside the college. Our thrust is to create Law professionals with an ability to comprehend and find solution to contemporary problems arising from the rapidly changing socio, economic and political scenario.
