Law College Dehradun has grown in strength from day one i.e. 1st August, 2002. Since its inception it has added many feathers onto its cap. It's really appreciable that in a short span of eight years it has established itself as a leading law college of north India. This feat has been possible due to concerted efforts of faculty and supporting staff of the college.

With great pride, I state that the college strives hard to shape up its students well so that they can face the challenges of today’s fast paced neo-world in a befitting manner. Towards this end, the college promotes multi-dimensional legal education. It’s the multidisciplinary inquiry and practical appreciation of problems coupled with moot courts and case studies that make Law College Dehradun stand taller.

Academic results of the college are testimony to the fact that adequate emphasis is being laid on academics. This is also resultant of the fact that discussion in class rooms and debates on legal topics brings out the best from among the students.

Besides, this college has done extremely well on co-curricular and extra curricular front. Be it winning of inter-collegiate debates or organizing seminars, conclaves, mock parliaments or conducting legal awareness camps at the remote villages of the state of Uttarakhand. The recently organized workshop-cum-seminar in the benign presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. A.R. Laxmanan, Chairman, Law Commission of India, and a conclave on regionalism were highly appreciated by the legal luminaries.

Owing to a rising demand of legal awareness in the country and overseas, the students of Law College Dehradun are bound to excel. I am sure that the students will have a bright law career and they will measure up to the expectations and high standards demanded by the legal profession.
